What to Compare on a Growth Chamber Datasheet
| Specification | What to check |
|---|---|
| Temperature range | The range with lights on and with lights off; high light raises the lowest achievable temperature |
| Temperature stability | Stated as ± °C; typically ±0.5 °C on Percival chambers |
| Light intensity | µmol/m²/s at a stated distance from the lamps, usually 15 cm |
| Growing height | Clear height from shelf to lamps; decides final plant size |
| Shelf area and tiers | Total growing area and number of independently lit tiers |
| Humidity and CO₂ | Whether included or optional, and the controllable range |
| Exterior dimensions | Check door widths and ceiling height at your site |
