JKG configures custom plant growth chambers and walk-in rooms from a full catalogue of options, so the chamber matches your protocol rather than the other way round.
Walk-in rooms are built to any size or configuration, and reach-in chambers can be fitted with controller, humidity, CO₂, lighting, temperature, access and qualification options. Tell us your requirement and we will recommend a configuration for your plants, your space and your budget.

Humidity
Pan-type or ultrasonic humidifiers, dehumidifiers, electronic or advanced RH sensors and a water reservoir kit.
CO₂ control
Additive CO₂ control with 2,000 ppm, 5,000 ppm or 10% sensors, and a CO₂ removal system.
Lighting
Top-tier upgrades to 2,100 µmol/m²/s or higher, SciBrite and IncuBrite panels, eight-colour tiles, dimming and daily light integral.
Temperature range and cooling
Extended ranges to −10 °C or +60 °C, and water-cooled, self-contained or remote outdoor condensing units.
Doors, access and safety
Glass doors, observation windows, locks, access ports, fresh-air ports, alarms and a remote auto-dialer.
Shelving and accessories
Epoxy or stainless-steel shelves, insect screens, coated coils for Drosophila, HEPA fresh-air ports and a hydroponic kit.
Power, water and site
Power back-up, voltage stabilizer, cut-off relay, delay timer, RO water purifier and drainage kit.

Can you build a custom walk-in growth room?
Yes. Walk-in rooms are built to any size or configuration, with SciBrite or SciWhite LED lighting, humidity control and the cooling arrangement your site needs. See walk-in growth rooms.
Is every option available on every chamber?
No. Availability depends on the model and series. Tell us your chamber and requirement and we will recommend the options that fit.
Can I add an option after buying a chamber?
Some options are fitted when the chamber is built; others, such as SciBrite and IncuBrite panels with controller kits, can be added later. Ask us about your existing chamber.
What are IQ, OQ and PQ?
Qualification documents: installation qualification (IQ) records that the equipment was installed correctly, operational qualification (OQ) that it operates as specified, and performance qualification (PQ) that it performs as required in use.
Is an extended warranty available?
Yes. An extended warranty can be added for one, two or three additional years.
What does a custom growth chamber cost?
Cost depends on the base model or room size and the options chosen. We quote once we know your conditions, capacity and site.
