Research Applications: Equipment Matched to Your Experiment

Every experiment has its own critical conditions. Arabidopsis needs even, moderate light on low shelves; drought studies need precise control of water and air; tissue culture needs light without condensation; western blots need a sensitive cooled camera. Choosing equipment from the application backwards avoids paying for features you will not use and missing the ones you need.
These pages describe the conditions each application depends on, the mistakes that most often compromise results, and the JKG BioScience equipment that fits, from plant growth chambers and walk-in rooms to phenotyping, microbiology, imaging and analytical instruments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Start from the experiment: the organism or sample, the conditions you must control, how many samples you need and the space available. Each application page lists the conditions that matter and the equipment that fits. You can also discuss your application with our team.

Often yes. Multi-application chambers such as the JKG-41 and JKG-66 can be configured for plant growth, Arabidopsis, algae, germination or incubation. If your group runs very different conditions at the same time, several smaller chambers are usually better than one large one.

Tell us your requirement. If it fits our range of controlled-environment, phenotyping and laboratory equipment, we will recommend a configuration.

Yes. We help translate experimental needs into technical specifications and supply catalogues and compliance documents for tender and GeM procurement.
